Embarcadero Technologies, a leading provider of software solutions for application and database development, today announced it has closed a major deal with one of CA's large customers, among the elite Fortune 500 high tech firms, to switch from CA ERwin® to Embarcadero ER/Studio. The customer is expected to deploy ER/Studio to hundreds of data modellers – and potentially thousands of business users throughout the organisation. This significant customer win extends the trend of other recent large ERwin to ER/Studio migrations such as Microsoft.
