Luxembourg-based biodiesel asset management company Einer Energy has deployed AspectCTRM, an advanced trade and risk management solution, within just two weeks of signing with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) vendor Aspect Enterprise Solutions.
AspectCTRM Standard Edition (SE) was live with Einer’s Geneva-based trading team in less than 14 days thanks to the solution’s SaaS architecture and Cloud-based delivery mechanism. But the speed of deployment came as no surprise to Einer’s Director Frederic Bottin.
“I’d used Aspect’s solutions before in another company and had been impressed then with how quickly they were able to get us up and running,” said Bottin. “At Einer Energy we wanted a system that allowed us to get moving straight away and that previous experience played a big part in choosing to go with Aspect again. I’ve got to say they performed as well, if not better, this time around too.”
Speed of deployment is a key feature of AspectCTRM. In contrast, legacy systems typically take a year or more to implement. Even in a large scale fully end-to-end implementation, key elements of AspectCTRM, such as deal capture and risk analysis, can be in place, working and delivering value within a matter of days, with successive additional elements going live as the progress of integration projects allows.
Other factors high on Einer’s list of priorities were AspectCTRM’s ability to support both physical and paper-based trades, its ease of scaling upwards to match business growth and a migration path toward the addition of physical operations management.
