London - (28th July 2011) - My Meeting Professional, (
http://www.mymeetingprofessional.com/) the new social hub for the meetings, events and conferences sector, today announces its launch.
My Meeting Professional is a community-led hub for event and meetings organisers, developed to share knowledge, expertise and resources.
The platform has been developed by iBAHN (
www.ibahn.com) and pulls together useful content from a wide range of sources including content partners such as BigHospitality and Symon Dacon (
http://www.mymeetingprofessional.com/about/content-partners/).
My Meeting Professional provides fresh content, insights and practical solutions to the challenges facing people working across the events sector. Furthermore, it is an online space where questions can be posed, advice offered and contacts made to help in the development of useful relationships.
My Meeting Professional's main focus is on the need for fresh answers to technology and connectivity challenges that conference and meetings organisers face on a daily basis, but this is only the foundation of the platform. It is quickly evolving into a broad communal resource, which will develop in the way that most benefits the My Meeting Professional Community.
The platform has been divided into three key sections of resources, trends and conversations to help the industry, all of which will feature regularly updated content in the form of blog posts, videos, statistics from around the industry and conversation.
Graeme Powell, managing director iBAHN EMEA, comments: "My Meeting Professional is a unique resource developed by members of the events industry, for members of the events industry. The platform's focus is to deliver useful content, develop educational resources and offer a hub where knowledge can be easily shared. My Meetings Professional is open to all and if you would like to become a content partner please get in touch with the team via the website."
Elaine Marshall, executive director, BigHospitality, adds: "My Meeting Professional allows people in the events sector to connect from afar and share thoughts and insight to help them run and grow their business. As a content partner, BigHospitality's editorial team will also be keeping members updated with all the latest news and developments in the sector."
