Microsoft releases Twitter application for Zune HD

Microsoft's recently-released Zune HD was exciting for some in the way that it would feature applications, similar to its competitors. Keeping with its promise of free software, Microsoft has today unleashed a Zune HD Twitter application, following the release of the mobile Bing app for Apple's iPhone.  The announcement was fittingly made from the Zune account on Twitter a couple hours ago, stating that the application was making its way through the store and that it should be available right now.
