Google to promote Chrome browser through TV ads

According to both the Wall Street Journal and Google's official blog, Google will promote it's Chrome browser through a TV ads.   The ad, shown below, was made by the Google'd Japan Team to promote Chrome, and according to Google's official blog, will be featured on TV. However, a Google spokeswoman said there currently aren't plans to use any of the other Chrome videos for upcoming TV spots.  Considering that Google has never been a major TV advertiser, it'll be interesting to see how these ads will affect Chrome's market share. Currently, Chrome's market share is at 1.42% according to market share data.   Read full story...
