You Tube user sues music business -- The EFF has filed a lawsuit against the Universal Music Publishing Group after the company asked that a home video be removed due to copyright infringement.  Off to a rough start with the iPhone -- I would have been just as happy with a wireless, Web-enabled video iPod that wasn't a phone at all.  EMI and DRM: Does it matter? -- EMI is now offering DRM-less downloads for iTunes and several Windows Media Audio-based stores. But for real portability, only MP3 will do.    Quanta scores contract for next iPhone model -- Why do we care? -- Why in the world do people care when Apple signs a contract with a manufacturing company? I think it's one of the most ridiculous reactions to non-news anyone can have.  What does MySpace news about removing 29,000 sex offenders mean for parents? --  How do we assess risk and keep it in perspective, and what best practices should be implemented on family, corporate, and societal levels to keep kids safe?
