Schools share information in high-tech ways - MAYA PAYNE SMART, Crain's Cleveland Business

The online distribution of audio and video content is changing the way universities spread information, and at least three area institutions are using the iPod as a tool in the educational process. Kent State University, Lorain County Community College and the University of Akron are among the schools to have partnered with iTunes U, which is an area of Apple’s iTunes Store that contains free content such as course lectures, lab demonstrations, campus tours and other information uploaded by faculty and administrators at participating universities.
