Title: How to Export Outlook 2003 Calender Entries to Excel
Post by: Taruna on January 03, 2007, 02:40:52 PM
Question

I need to manually copy the start and stop times of my monthly appointments (in my Microsoft Outlook 2003 calendar running on Exchange Server 2003) to a Microsoft Excel file. This is part of a monthly report to account for my time, and how much time I spent on an appointment. Is there a way to export the fields from a Microsoft Outlook/Exchange Server calendar to specified fields in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access?

> Answer

Follow these steps to export your calendar to a Microsoft Excel file:

Select the Microsoft Outlook calendar.
Go to File -> Import and Export.
Click Export to a file.
Choose Comma Separated Values (DOS) for Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access.
Select the Microsoft Outlook calendar.
Type a name for the new file.
Set a date range to narrow your data.
Open the file using Microsoft Excel.
