Title: Sixty Seconds to Enlightenment Post by: Daniel Franklin on October 31, 2007, 03:08:23 PM While the catchy title might seem misleading, I truly will give you a great jump-start toward enlightenment in the next sixty seconds. To do so, let's take a simple, step-by-step approach.
First, expect that enlightenment is not a dream, but your reality. Build upon that reality within your own imagination to include all the aspects that "enlightenment" holds for you in attracting you toward it. As it takes shape, begin to feel what it is like to have these very elements in your life every day. See it...smell it...feel it...hear what life sounds like when your vision of enlightenment has become your everyday life. Revisit this last step as often as is practical because it is the creation space. It is only when you have your imagination in gear and are deeply feeling what your imagination is concocting that you build your world. We build our worlds every day, but mostly we do so without conscious intent or even an awareness of our power in this area. By taking charge of the creation, you own the result...in fact, you *are* the result. Know this: only you can travel the road to your enlightenment, and you determine whether that road is one inch or a million miles in length. Do you believe it to be difficult and encompassing years of study and effort? Okay. So it is. Do you believe in your heart of hearts that before your next breath you will have attained the enlightened state you dream of? Done. Did I give you what I promised? The very last element: read the middle four paragraphs of this message as often as you can. It loops you back to the start by design--we all need repetition in order to fully accept new ideas. Seeing the truth of an idea is not the same as fully accepting it. It need not take you even the sixty seconds I asked for in seeking your attention today if all you have is thirty. In less than that time, you can expect your dream to be reality, build it in your imagination, feel it in your heart, and then live it every day.
