Title: THE INDIAN NAVY - Last date - 09 November 2007 Post by: Hellraiser on October 24, 2007, 02:15:00 PM Applications are invited from unmarried male Indian citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers in the Education Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing Aug 2008 at NAVAC, INS Zamorin, Ezhimala, Kerala.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS 1. Age : Between 21 to 25 yrs. Candidates to be born between 02 Aug 1983 and 01 Aug1987 (both dates inclusive) 2. Educational Qualifications a) B.E/B.Tech with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from an Institution recognized by AICTE in any of the following disciplines:- (i) Electronics, (ii) Electrical, (iii) Mechanical (iv) IT/ Computer Science b) A Master's Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university in Physics/ Mathematics. Those with Maser's Degree in Physics should have studied Mathematics and those with Mathematics should have studied Physics, as subsidiary subject at the graduation level. Note: Candidates who have not completed their BE/ B.Tech OR Master's Degree (i.e appearing candidates) need not apply, their applications will not be accepted. 3. Physical Standards : (a) Height and weight : Minimum height-157 cms, Female- 252cms with correlated weight. (b) Eye sight :6/60,6/60 correctable to 6/12,6/12 with glasses .
