When RPG games were first introduced, they are available in only two languages, English and Japanese. Players must have knowledge or understand the languages in order to play these kind of games. The characteristic of RPG games is the characters in the game are set to complete a kind of goal and the players will be assigned to be one of the characters and they have to do some adventures in the specific theme. The distinct characteristic of RPG is when players have completed the goals or when they are able to overcome obstacles during their adventures, they will gain “Experience” scores. RPG game is not the kind games that emphasise on graphic animation or exciting controller like Action games, instead, they are designed to let players enjoy its stories and adventures. RPG can be divided into the following; Action RPG Are the RPG games that have both stories and exciting graphic animation and controller Simulation RPG Are the RPG games that mainly has strategic war campaign MMORPG Is the RPG Are the kind of RPG games that allows multiplayer playing at the same time from different locations through computer networks or Internet and each player has to play in same situation or same campaign but they will have their own rules and responsibilities. Example o RPG games Heros, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest Action Games Action games is one of the most popular type among gamers, because it is not as complicated as RPG and they are very easy to control. The only thing players need to do is control characters in the game to the right direction in order to complete the goal. There are millions of action games available in the market, vary from the easiest ones like Mario, Rock Man to very violent, which suitable for adults only. Action games, these days, has been developed to correspond to gamers need, so new kind of action games has emerged like; Sneak Tactical Action Are the kind of games that not intend to assign player to complete the gold by using only their controlling skills, but players also need to use their tactics and strategies in order to complete the goal. Example of Sneak Tactical Action: Tenchu, Metal Gear, Solid Simulation Action Are the games that simulate specific situation for players to use controlling skill to pass such as Odd world's, Odyssey Platform Action Has very basic platform or fixed campaign for player to complete the goal, such as Mario, Croc. Adventure Games Adventure games are design to let players enjoy its stories, but it is different from RPG game format. That is, adventure games generally do not have feature of increasing characters’ experience scores and also, players don’t need to have great controlling skill in order to play. The most distinct characteristic of adventure games is with its stories, which will be disclosed bit by bit to make players feel exciting until the end of the game and this kind of game also use theme or campaign that relevant to adventure and exciting activities.
