Title: Companies in Need of RFID Skills - M2M Post by: Mark David on June 18, 2007, 10:34:00 AM The popularity of RFID (radio frequency identification) is growing as more and more companies look to the technology as a way to solve a number of business challenges ranging from managing inventory to meeting federal regulations, but a new survey suggests that even if more companies expressed interest in implementing RFID, there may not be enough RFID specialists to go around. According to new research conducted by the Computing Technology Industry Assn. (CompTIA), www.comptia.org, Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., the RFID industry is still suffering from a shortage of skilled technicians, though overall shortages have lessened in recent years.
