Title: Tech Gets Older, Bigger - Quentin Hardy, Forbes Post by: Mark David on June 11, 2007, 09:21:10 PM Long ago, at least in terms of what used to be called Internet time, there was a big technology industry conference called Agenda, where the likes of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs stood around the coffee urns, passionately arguing about the future of tech, and other attendees got breathless over the latest cool product and software application. A few decades on, there is Dow Jones’ D conference, where Gates and Jobs go at it onstage after dinner, and a decidedly grayer set greet each other and exhale over industry-consolidating deals.
