Previously, she was provost of the Broward Community College North Campus in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.... Williams is BCCC’s first female president.... "We are looking at how we can best [serve] students via distance learning.... People are doing a lot more these days, so we need to get past bricks and mortar. Some students can’t physically come to class because of their jobs or their family situations.
