Some of Florida's neediest schools will get an infusion of technology, thanks to a class-action lawsuit settlement between the state and Microsoft Corp. More than $93 million in vouchers for computers and software arrived in school districts across the state last month. Miami-Dade received nearly $20 million, while Broward got $8 million. ''This would help us a zillion ways,'' said Deliose Brown, principal at Phillis Wheatley Elementary School in Miami. With more than 90 percent of students qualifying for free or reduced lunches, school is often the only place that students are exposed to technology, Brown said. ''Whatever they do here on computers, that's all they get. They don't have them at home,'' she said.
