Ultimately, as colleges in Tucson adapt to accommodate more students, they're focusing on giving students more ways to earn a degree: Both the University of Arizona and Pima Community College will increase enrollments. Northern Arizona University will continue its expansion in Tucson, and might build a free-standing regional university here. More and stronger collaborations between the state universities and community colleges will encourage and ease student transfers. Online education will grow tremendously.
