Title: Man works toward degrees with online courses - Utica OD Post by: Mark David on May 19, 2007, 03:24:43 PM Mike Scalzo, 42, is about to receive his first college degree, and online learning has played an important role. Scalzo had to stop his job as a cook about two years ago because he was injured at work. He needed to find something else to do, and decided to work toward degrees in human services and chemical dependency treatment. He took five of his courses online and the rest in the classroom.
