Fifth-graders at Crystal River Elementary in Carbondale have created an online learning community to use Web sites and interactive tools to publish their ideas and collaborate on projects. Students from Roaring Fork, Glenwood Springs and Yampah Mountain high schools are teaching younger kids how to build their own desktop computers. School building coordinators are revamping technology plans for teachers and kids.
