Title: Smart as a board - Matthew Goins, Times-Press Post by: Mark David on April 14, 2007, 01:25:20 AM Five Reedsburg teachers have been participating in a pilot program for the Reedsburg School District using Smart Boards, technology that provides an interactive environment for the teacher and students in the classroom. The teachers were chosen by the five principals in the district, and one board was allotted to each principal to install. Monday evening four of those teachers attended the Curriculum Committee meeting to provide an update on their experience using the new tool. "I love these things," Jay Utley, a fifth grade teacher at Westside Elementary, said. "I have a laptop at home and I think about the concept I want to teach, and create the lesson using the Internet."
