Technology skills are increasingly emphasized in schools. Over 80 percent of children ages 3 to 17 will use a computer this year at home or in the classroom. And there's plenty of computers to go around for all K-12 students - 14.2 million to be exact. That's one for every four students. One hundred percent of U.S. public schools have Internet access. Most kids appear to be using the Internet wisely. An overwhelming majority - 75 percent - of kids ages 3 to 17 are using the Internet at home, school or elsewhere to complete their school assignments. Read More..
