Representing the first UK distribution deal for the company, the agreement with Cyntech covers Hoffmann+Krippner’s flexx-IPC® industrial touch screen panel PC brand, Sensofoil® customisable membrane potentiometers and SENSOTOUCH® resistive sensor controller technology. The partnership agreement will allow Hoffmann + Krippner to gain greater presence in a broad spectrum of applications for harsh environments from industrial automation, food processing, medical and pharmaceutical to aerospace and automotive manufacturing. Hoffmann+Krippner’s leading flexx-IPC® family includes the flex-IPC M ‘Basic’, Flex-IPC M ‘Advanced’ and flex-IPC M ‘Power’. These robust and durable industrial touch screen panel PCs are sealed in accordance with IP65/NEMA ratings and support cost-effective front panel customisation in order volumes as low as just 20 units. Sensofoil is an ultra-flat membrane foil potentiometer available in lengths of 8mm to 1000mm and diameters up to 400mm. The potentiometer is customisable with almost no limitations including linear and rotary options and custom-shapes. SENSOTOUCH is a freely controllable and programmable tri-axis resistive sensor controller for operation in temperatures of -25°C to +55 °C and with a mechanical lifecycle of more than1 million operations. It can be supplied in customised rectangular, round and oval designs and is sealed to IP65 standards.
