Microsoft's recently-released Zune HD was exciting for some in the way that it would feature applications, similar to its competitors. Keeping with its promise of free software, Microsoft has today unleashed a Zune HD Twitter application, following the release of the mobile Bing app for Apple's iPhone. The announcement was fittingly made from the Zune account on Twitter a couple hours ago, stating that the application was making its way through the store and that it should be available right now. The application is free, as mentioned, and will allow users to update & read updates from their Twitter account, providing a Wi-Fi connection is available.
