Techcrunch is reporting that it appears Google Chrome is about to receive it's long awaited extensions - the latest builds of Chrome - including the Windows, Mac and Linux builds are showing various links to a "extensions gallery" at Google.com which doesn't exist. In the new builds, a jigsaw piece appears next to the theme gallery button - if you click it, it'll send you right back to google.com, but if you hover over it, the link it shows it goes to https://chrome.google.com/extensions - presumably where the new gallery will be hosted.
