Google has announced a partnership with Twitter to offer google-indexed tweets on it's search engine. In the announcement, Google points out that they will offer up to the minute tweets in it's web search function. This news comes shortly after Bing announced that they are adding twitter results into their search engine too - it seems like the two companies are racing to integrate twitter first. According to a Google Blog post today: "Given this new type of information and its value to search, we are very excited to announce that we have reached an agreement with Twitter to include their updates in our search results.
