• Grants can be used for individual training courses or in-company training 13 February 2009 (London, UK): Businesses that qualify for grant funding from the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) can now benefit from digital marketing training courses (http://econsultancy.com/training/courses) led by internet research and training specialist, Econsultancy (http://econsultancy.com/). Up to £1,000 worth of funding is available to businesses based in England, £500 of which can be used to train a key member of staff. The remaining £500 can be used to help other members of the senior team become ‘digital experts’. All of Econsultancy's 150+ digital marketing training courses (http://econsultancy.com/training/courses) will be available to businesses that successfully access funding. The first £500 of grant support does not require a contribution from the employer and the subsequent £500 must be 'matched' by the employer. To qualify, organisations should: • be based in England • employ between 5 and 249 people • not have already received Train to Gain Leadership and Management funding support. Training requirements are agreed with a Specialist Adviser and training costs are usually reimbursed within four weeks of attending the course. Craig Hanna, Training Director, Econsultancy commented: "We hope that this partnership will enable a greater number of businesses to access web 'know-how' because in today's economic climate those organisations that are truly e-savvy stand a far greater chance of success. "Our courses take a hands-on approach so that attendees are armed with practical ideas to implement on their return to the office. If you and your organisation meet the eligibility criteria then this really is a no-brainer - there aren't any catches." Econsultancy's training is recognised globally for helping companies make the most of their budgets. Courses include Fast Track Digital Marketing (http://econsultancy.com/training/courses/fast-track-digital-marketing), Email Marketing (http://econsultancy.com/training/courses/email-marketing), Search Engine Marketing (http://econsultancy.com/training/courses/seo), Online Copywriting (http://econsultancy.com/training/courses/online-copywriting), Web Project Management (http://econsultancy.com/training/courses/web-project-management), Online PR (http://econsultancy.com/training/courses/online-pr) and Web Analytics (http://econsultancy.com/training/courses/web-measurement-analytics) to name just a few.
