After catching a quick tweet from Robert Scoble I stumbled across a live video feed Scoble was producing with the folks from Kosmix. Kosmix is an "alternative search engine" that received $20 million of funding from Time Warner in December 2008. If you search for a topic in Kosmix instead of a list of results, you get a full page of facts, content and user opinion from sites like Wikipedia, Google Search Results, Flickr, Ebay and Twitter. Searching for Neowin provides our latest news, latest tagged flickr photos and our YouTube content. It's a pretty impressive aggregator of content for trending topics like Obama.
