Vijaya Bank, Fast Growing Public Sector Bank, with Head Office at Bangalore, having a network of 990 branches plus offices, with total employee strength of around 11400 working all over India, invites applications (On-Line only) from young & Dynamic Candidates who are looking for a challenging work environment and progressive career, for recruitment to the posts of Probationary Assistant Managers (JMG-S-I) in Officers Cadre & Probationary Clerks in Clerical Cadre.

PAY SCALE, ALLOWANCES AND PERQUISITES: Grade/Cadre Pay Scale (Rs.) Approximate total monthly emoluments inclusive of Basic, DA, CCA, HRA etc., at the start of the scale at metropolitan centres. *
Probationary Clerks Rs. 4410 – Rs. 13210 Rs. 6500/-
Probationary Assistant Managers in JMG-S-I. Rs. 10000 – Rs. 18240 Rs. 14500/-
APPLICATION FEE & POSTAGE CHARGES (NON-REFUNDABLE)
For PROBATIONARY ASSISTANT MANAGERS.
A) Rs.50/= towards postal charges for SC/ST/PWD Candidates.
B) Rs.300/= Application fee (including postal charges) for all others including OBC & XSM Candidates.
The fees should be paid by Demand Draft/Pay Order favouring "VIJAYA BANK RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2007–Probationary Assistant Managers" Payable at MUMBAI only . Please note that Cash, Cheques, Money Orders, Postal Stamps etc. will NOT be accepted. Candidate’s name, post code and date of birth should be written on the reverse of the Demand Draft/Pay Order.

HOW TO APPLY
Candidates are required to apply through on-line through website
www.vijayabank.com . No other means /mode of applications will be accepted.The links for on-line registration for the posts of Probationary Assistant Managers and Probationary Clerks respectively, are also provided at the bottom of this advertisement. The guidelines for filling Applications are as under
Candidate should have a valid e mail ID.
The candidates should have their Demand Draft payable at Mumbai favoring VIJAYA BANK RECRUITMENT PROJECT 2007 – ( Probationary Assistant Manager / Probationary Clerk as the case may be) READY BEFORE APPLYING ON LINE. Without DD details, data will not be registered. The DD should not be dated before 26.11.2007 and not after 04.01.2008. Even if Bank extends the date of on-line registration by one or two days, the valid dates of Demand Drafts will not be changed. Valid dates of Demand Drafts also remain the same for far flung areas.
After applying on-line, the registered candidates should obtain a print out of the Computer Generated On-Line Application , sign at the appropriate place and send along with Application fee (i.e., Demand Draft /Pay Order). Candidates should retain a photocopy of their Demand Draft and the afore print out for future reference.
A recent photograph should be pasted on the Print-out
Candidate’s name, Post and date of birth should be written on the reverse of Demand Draft /Pay Order.
Print outs of the Computer Generated On-Line Application, complete in all respects should be sent by ordinary post only in a closed envelope super scribed "PRINT-OUT FOR THE POST OF ______________________(Post code No._______) in “Vijaya Bank", to the following address:
