Applications are invited from Unmarried male Indian citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Aviation Cadre of Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for course commencing Jul 2008 at Naval Academy.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
1. Age :19 to 23 years born between 02 Jul 1985 and 01 Jul 1989; both dates inclusive.
2. Educational Qualifications : A graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks with Mathematics & Physics at 10+2 level.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS :
(a) Height and weight : Minimum height-162.5 cms with correlated weight, leg length, sitting height and thigh length.
(b) Eye sight : The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/6,6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6. Should not be colour/night blind.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS :
(a) Application must be sent in the format given in this advertisement, otherwise it will be rejected.( b) Application must be accompanied by attested copies of :- (i) 10th Standard Certificate for verification of Date of birth and other Educational certificates. (ii) Marks statement of all the semesters/ years. (c) Application and requisite enclosures must be properly tagged/stitched by thread only. Integrated Headquarters- Min of Defence (Navy) ((IHQ-MoD (N)) will not be responsible for loss of Enclosures if sent loose. (d) Applicants should endorse their willingness to be considered for Executive (General Service) in case not qualifying PABT/ Aviation medicals to be considered for the same.
