Application In General
1. Application should be submitted on A4 size 80 GSM BOND PAPER.
2. Only applications submitted in the format prescribed as part of this Notice will be accepted. Application format is also available on the RRB/ Ahmedabad website
www.rrbadi.org.
3. Application should be legible and written in the candidate's own handwriting. Only international numerals i.e., 1,2,3 should be used.
Please note: Application form should be to scale (A4 size). Candidates can photocopy (xerox) and use this format for application and information sheet. Application not as per size and format will be rejected. Envelope size - 10/11cms.X 24/25 cms.
E-Application
1. For online registration and application, log on to our website:
www.rrbadi.org.
2. Register, Fill up e-application, take printout of the filled up single page application form and send it to RRB, duly filling up declaration, affixing signature, LTI, photograph and requisite enclosures.
Examination Fees (Non Refundable)
Candidates are advised to see the details of fees to be paid in column mentioned against each category on first page in the table. Candidates belonging to SC/ST and ex-servicemen are fully exempted from payment of examination fees.
For all other candidates, crossed Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order of the appropriate amount (non-refundable and dated not before 20.10.2007) should be attached along with the application duly indicating the details in the space provided in the application form. The demand draft should be drawn on a Nationalised Bank and should have validity period fro a minimum of 6 months and should be made payable at Ahmedabad in favour of Assistant Secretary, Railway Recruitment Board, Ahmedabad. Applications without DD/IPO will be rejected. The amount remitted as fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Candidates are advised in their own interest to follow the instructions given below. In the space provided for sender's name in the Postal Order and on the reverse side of the Demand Draft the following details should be written:
1. Employment Notice Number
2. Category number of the post
3. Name of the post applied for
4. Name and postal address of the candidate
How to Apply:
Candidates should refer instructions given at Sr.No.1 for filling the application form. Candidate should carefully read the instructions before filling up application form.
General Conditions
1. Application received after closing date and time will not be entertained.
2. Candidates can register and apply online from the website of the RRB-Ahmedabad .
3. Each candidate should send only one application for the same post or group of posts, his candidature will be cancelled.
4. The applications must be addressed to Assistant Secretary, RRB-Ahmedabad and should be sent by ORDINARY post or dropped in the box kept in the RRB Ahmedabad's office. Applications received by Regd. Post or Courier Services or Speed Post will not be acknowledged.
5. Candidates are required to read all instructions properly before filling the applications.
6. Candidates must fill the application form in their own handwriting and must sign and affix clear Thumb impression themselves. Otherwise their candidature will be cancelled.
7. Candidates who register online should send the downloaded format of the online application form duly filled-in (with all the required enclosures) and should clearly indicate "ONLINE" on the envelope.
8. Candidates belonging to SC/ST and Ex-servicemen are fully exempted from payment of examination fees.
9. IPOs/ DDs with validity for 6 months should be drawn in favour of Assistant Secretary, Railway Recruitment Board- Ahmedabad and payable at Ahmedabad.
10. Those awaiting results of the final examination need not apply.
