Designation Head of Welfare Centre
Job Description 1. Responsible for all current Pragati Kendra activities which include:
a.Coordination with Directors for social activities as per their direction.
b.Maintaining Pragati Kendra premises and loaning premises to other Division for their Business and Social Activities.
c.Organising, scheduling and conducting social activities and programs.
d.Maintaining forums such as Mahila Manch, Sr. Citizen, Counseling Group etc.
e.Coordination with workmen and GBSS representatives for activities related to welfare of the Company employees.
f.Running the Library at Hill Side Colony.
g.Maintaining all records in conjunction with ISO 14000.
h.Liasioning with NGOs and assisting them in conducting welfare program.
i.All administrative, accounting and budgeting work related to Pragati Kendra.
j.Coordination with Divisions, Plants, Departments, and other Welfare Centers for programs that are conducted as per the requirements of the company.
k.Any other need based Social Causes like flood relief, earthquake relief, etc.
2. Conducting activities of Alcohol Anonymous Group.
3. Conducting Welfare Awareness programs like AIDS, Social Responsibilities, etc.
4. Aiding in the employment and rehabilitation of physically challenged persons.
5. Coordinating and conducting activities in conjunction with Medical Services.
6. Researching on employee habits, family relations and understanding their pains and difficulties in order to help/ uplift the employees and their families and build goodwill with the employees.
7. CSR:-
a.Co-ordination with CII for implementing the program made by Council of Affirmative Action to make a truly inclusive society.
b.Blue Collared personnel Training & Development.
c.Entrepreneurship program.
d.Co-ordinating with all Divisions/ Departments/ Branches for conducting various training programs as per the needs of Socially Challenged persons for making them employable.
e.Gathering, Maintaining and presenting information on all the above.
