Candidates who have appeared for final examination in 2007 may also apply subject to submission of proof of having passed the examination in prescribed Class at the time of appearing for written examination
Age: 28 Years and below as on 30.6.2007. Age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates as per Govt. Rules.
Method of Selection: Through written examination on all India basis, to be conducted at New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam. Final interviews will be held at Head Office of DCI at Visakhapatnam.
Training Period: Twelve months
Consolidated Stipend: Rs. 15,000/- per month during the training period.
How To Apply
Candidates who applied on-line are also advised to send hard copy of application in the Prescribed format duly filled in to Head of the Department-HR, Dredging Corporation of India Ltd., ‘DREDGE HOUSE”, Port Area, Visakhapatnam-530 035 along with the following:
(i) Photographs: One passport size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer is to be affixed on the Application Form. In addition, 3 attested passport size photographs should be sent along with the application form.
(ii) Candidates are required to produce the following:
a) Photocopy of Birth Certificate in proof of age;
b) Photocopy of Educational qualifications from Recognised Universities/Institutions. In case the candidates appeared for examinations and awaiting Final Year results, copies of Marks Sheets for the previous years;
c) In case the candidates come within the eligibility criteria and are considered in the Select list of candidates, authenticated documents of the above will be required to be submitted at the time of interview.
d) Demand Draft for Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) (not applicable to SC/ST/PH Candidates), drawn in favour of “DREDGING CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD, VISAKHAPATNAM”
e) Candidates are required to furnish 2 references of reputed persons, known to them (but not close or blood related family members), indicating their names, occupation, addresses together with contact Telephone numbers.
Candidates who applied for Management Trainees in response to our earlier Advt. No. 06/2006, dated 7.9.06 need not apply afresh as written examination will be conducted for them also along with eligible candidates who respond to this Advertisement.
The last date for sending applications on-line is 14.8.07.
The last date for sending Hard copy of applications is 20.8.2007.
