Looking For Project Assistant

Application are invited for engagement of a Project Assistant Level-I tenable at CSIO unit (a Regional Centre of Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Chandigarh), CSIR Madras Complex, Taramani, Chennai- 600113 for the project titled "Development of an instrument using immunofluorescence based biosensors for detection of infectious pathogens- Phase II" (GAP-0244)
Name of the Position : Project Assistant (Level- I)
Number of Position : 01 (One)
Remuneration : Rs. 5,0 (E&I)00/- (consolidated) per month
Qualification : 1st Class Diploma of three years duration in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) (or) Electronics &Instrumentation
Tenure : 8 months (or) duration of the project whichever is earlier
Age : Should not exceed 28 years as on 26.10.2007, relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as provided for in Govt. of India Orders
Interested candidates may apply only the format prescribed below, along with recent passport size photograph enclosing attested copies of certificates and testimonials in proof of Age, Qualification and Community (for SC/ST/OBC) to the Administrative Officer, CSIR Madras Complex, Taramani, P.O. Chennai- 600113, latest by October 26, 2007, duly superscribed on the envelope as "Application for Project Assistant Level- I- CSIO Unit".
Incomplete, unsigned and applications received without enclosures and after due date, will be summarily rejected.
Applying for the position advertised herein does not by itself automatically entitle an applicant to be called for interview as the applicants will be shot listed for the purpose since it is not possible to call the eligible candidates for interview.
The decision of the Council/Organisation in any matter relating to this, will be final.
