Applications are invited for engagement of two Project Assistants tenable at CEERI Centre, (a Regional Centre of Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, Pilani), CSIR Madras Complex, Tharamani, Chennai – 600 113 for the MCIT sponsored project titled “Development of on-line surface inspection module for hot rolled steel strips – collaborative R&D project with RDCIS / SAIL, Ranchi & funded by DIT” GAP-03117. Name of the Position Project Assistant - Level – II
Number of Positions 02 (two)
Stipend Rs.8,000/- (consolidated) per month.
Qualification for Position No. 1 & 2 1st Class B.E. Computer Science Engineering (or) Electronics & Communication Engineering.
Job Requirement for Position No.1 : Embedded systems hardware testing interfacing & model development in SIMULINK / MATLAB & DSP/FPGA programming knowledge and experience in these fields is preferred
Job Requirement for Position No. 2 & 3 Software / program development for image acquisitions, camera interfaces, algorithm development and testing. Knowledge in VC++ / C++ programming is essential.
Duration of the Project :10 Months (or) duration of the project whichever is earlier.
Age :Should not exceed 28 Years as on 29.10.2007, relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as provided for in Govt. of India Orders.

Incomplete, unsigned and applications received without enclosures and after due date, will be summarily rejected.
Applying for the position advertised herein does not by itself automatically entitle an applicant to be called for interview as the applicants will be short listed for the purpose since it is not possible to call all the eligible candidates for interview.
The decision of the Council / Organisation in any matter relating to this, will be final.
