Trainee Engineer Officers
Eligibility: Graduation in BE Mechanical Engineering approved by AICTE with 60% aggregate & 50% in English Language (10th or 12th). Students awaiting results can also apply.
Age: Not more than 24 yrs (as of 01 January, 2008)
Medical: Physically fit with clean medical history.
Eyesight: Maximum 6/12 each eye. No colour blindness.
Successful candidates for Trainee Engineer Officers will be nominated to undergo a 1 year Pre sea Training course prior joining ship.
Trainee Electrical Officers
Eligibility: Fresh BE/ Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation Stream.
Age: Below 27 years
Medical: Physically fit with clean medical history.
Eyesight: No colour blindness.
A written test will be conducted at Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi & Patna on 30th June 07 for all the above mentioned posts. Short listed candidates will be called for interviews commencing on 5th July 07 at the respective test centres.
