RECRUITMENT OF TELECOM TECHNICAL ASSISTANT, BSNL, Uttar Pradesh (East)

Applications in the prescribed form are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment of 104 number of Telecom Technical Assistants by Uttar Pradesh (East) Telecom Circle for its various Secondary Switching Areas (SSAs) as per details given below:-
1. Name of post and its classification: Telecom Technical Assistant (Group `C` Non-Executive).
2. Scale of Pay ( IDA) : Rs.7,100-10,100 Plus allowances as admissible

3. Educational Qualification : -(A) Three years Engineering Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Radio Engineering/Computer Engineering/ Instrument Technology from a recognized institution/university after 10th standard and Only those candidates, who have secured minimum 50% marks in Three Years Engineering Diploma will be eligible to app

4. Age : Between 18 and 27 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by five years in respect of SC and three years in respect of OBC candidates in accordance with instructions issued by the Central Govt. (Age is relaxable upto 40 years for OC and 45 years for SC employees of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited).
Note : The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date of receipt of applications from candidates i.e.15-11-2007

5. FEE : The examination fee ( Non Refundable) of Rs. 500/- ( Five Hundred Only) is to be sent along with the application form in the shape of Crossed Indian Postal Order / Bank Draft drawn in favour of Sr. Accounts Officer (Cash) O/o C.G.M.T.BSNL U.P(E), Circle ...................(name of the SSA concerned), payable at Lucknow and must be purchased/issued after the date of advertisement. Fee remitted by Money Orders or Cheque will not be accepted. No Examination fee is required to be paid in respect of SC & PH candidates. Exemption of examination fee will be applicable to those physically handicapped candidates only who are having minimum degree of disability Locomotive (OL,FT,BL) or Hearing (PD) as 40% and enclose with the application form, necessary certificate from Govt. Hospital/Medical Board in support of their claim

6 : How to apply :
Prescribed application form duly filled in by the candidate in his / her own hand writing / typed should be sent to AGM (Rectt), IInd Floor, PLI Bldg, O/o C.G.M.T BSNL, U.P.(East) Telecom Circle, Hazrztganj, Lucknow-226001 ( concerned for which the candidate wishes to apply) at the address given above, so as to receive in his office latest by .15-11-2007 Two recent identical passport size photographs ( duly attested by a Gazetted Officer) out of which one is to be affixed in the space provided in the application form and another should be enclosed with the application. The envelope containing application should be superscribed in bold letters ``Application for the Post of Telecom Technical Assistant -2007" Two self addressed envelopes ( 23x11 cms. size) duly stamped should also be enclosed with the application
