1.TYPE OF ENTRY:
(1) TGC: (a) Engineering Graduates: Eligible for induction into (i) Corps of Engineers (ii) Corps of signals (iii) Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (iv) Armoured Corps (v) Artillery (vi) AD Arty (vii) Infantry (viii) Intelligence Corps.
(b) Post Graduate (Non-Engg): Eligible for induction into the Army Education Corps( AEC). (ii) SSC (Tech):- (a) Corps of Engineers (b) Corps of Signals (c) Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers. (d) Armoured Corps (e) Artillery (f) AD Arty (g) Infantry (h) Intelligence Corps.

(ii) 30th SSC (Tech): Total 50 (Civl-15, Electrical-02, Mechanical-07, Electronics-07, Electronics&Comn Engg/Telecom Engg-10, Computer Science & Engg-02, Information Technology- 02, Production/ Industrial-03, Architecture-02)
Note: The number of vacancies given above is tentative and may be changed at any stage by Army Headquarters.
Minimum Educational Qualification :
(i) TGC (aa) For Technical Arms and Services (Engineers). A degree in Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognised University in Mechanical/ Electronics/ ECE/ Telecom/ Electrical/ Civil/ Computer Science and Engineering/ IT/ Industrial/ Production/ Architecture (ii) SSC (TECH): A degree in Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognised University in Mechanical/ Electronics/ ECE/ EEE/ Civil/ CSE/ IT/Industrial/Production/ Architecture
Age Limit: (i) TGC (aa) For Engineering Graduates :20 to 27 years, Born not earlier than 02 Jan 81 and not later than 01 Jan 87
ii) SSC (Tech)- 20 to 27 years, Born not earlier than 02 Apr 81 and not later than 01 Apr 88.
VISUAL STANDARDS : (I) The minimum acceptable visual acuity are : Distant Vision (corrected ) better eye 6/6.worse eye 6/18, myopia of not more than minus 3.50 Including astigmatism.
HOW TO APPLY
(a) Apply on plain foolscap paper (typed) as per format given in the advertisement. (b) Only attach photocopies of the following documents or certificates along with the Application which should be properly tagged and duly attested by Government Gazetted Officer : (1) Matriculation certificate issued by Board of Secondary Education or Central Board of Secondary Education as proof of date of birth (transfer certificate, affidavit etc. Are not acceptable) (ii) Degree /Provisional certificate along with marksheets of all the years/parts/semesters as proof of educational qualification, .(iii) one unstamped self addressed envelope to receive an interview call letter should also be enclosed with the application. (iv) Affix Your photograph in the space provided in the application form and attested by a govt. Gazetted Officer (v) NCC’C certificate OR National Certificate of Bravery/ Gallantry Award Or certificate showing representing of the state in National Sports competition may also be attached. The application should be sent in a white envelope SUPERSCRIBED IN RED INK on the top Left corner indicating the first preference for entry and also the subject/discipline.
