Worldview Learning wins Innovation of the Year Award
« Posted: July 11, 2014, 03:41:24 PM »

Coventry, UK, 11th July 2014 – Worldview Learning has won the Innovation of the Year at the 2degrees Champions Awards held at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday. Worldview Learning’s Discover platform is designed to deliver an energy reducing behavioural change programme across any organisation cost effectively and consistently. The awards - the only ones entirely voted for by industry peers - attracted a total of 240 entries and 7,473 votes were cast to decide the final 14 winners.

“Discover” is a cloud-based engagement platform designed to drive down energy consumption and carbon within any organisation. The platform consists of all the major elements needed to interact with employees throughout any organisation.
These include: 3D visualisation, customizable information hotspots, energy efficiency eLearning modules and quizzes, virtual suggestion boxes, social media integration, the Carbon Promise (where users have free choice to ‘do something different tomorrow’) and individual and group tracking of quiz scores and promises made.

Dan Saxton, Director, Worldview Learning commented: “We’re absolutely thrilled to receive this award for a couple of reasons. Firstly, as this Innovation of the Year Award is voted for by people from the industry, it underlines that other people believe, as we do, that we have market leading product. Secondly, it recognises that employee engagement and behavioural change are key to reducing carbon in an organisation”.

Martin Chilcott, CEO, 2degrees said: “This year’s award shortlisted nominees are an incredible collection of individuals and companies who have changed the way we think about sustainable business. Worldview Learning’s award represents years of commitment to thinking afresh, tackling inefficiencies and trailblazing ground-breaking solutions which have a positive impact on society. The 2degrees network provides businesses with an opportunity to showcase best practice, build relationships on and offline, and inspire others to start their sustainable journey.”

About Worldview Learning: (http://www.worldview-learning.com)
Worldview Learning provides high quality energy awareness campaigns and 3D interactive eLearning. Developed around our 'discover' eLearning platform and sold as a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution.
The full awareness campaign 'in a box' is designed to help organisations save time, resources and ultimately energy and carbon by combining regular learning, reporting and configurable content together in one, cloud-based solution.
It became obvious, after spending many years in the energy management service industry, that even the biggest organisations were struggling to find the means to deliver a comprehensive and interactive campaign.
Since 2010 Worldview Learning has worked to provide organisations the means to easily engage employees in energy awareness initiatives and helping towards driving savings in energy consumption and carbon.

About 2degrees: www.2degreesnetwork.co.uk

It also manages an online collaboration platform with more than 40,000 professional members which acts as an important facilitator, helping to engage, inform and enable companies in a value chain to work together to realise the benefits of being more sustainable.

About the 2degrees Champions Awards:
7,473 votes were cast by 2degrees members over six weeks. Members voted by assessing entries, which were published on the 2degrees platform.
