The Kenton Group today announces that it will explore how to deliver global manageable Carrier Ethernet services at next week’s Carriers World in London (24 – 25 September).

Network access specialist, the Kenton Group is Gold sponsor of the event and has over 30 years’ experience designing and developing network access and connection products and solutions for carriers, operators, service providers, enterprise and government throughout the world. Partnering with RAD Data Communications, The Kenton Group’s Technical Sales Manager, Steve Sharp will present alongside Stephen Boultwood, Carrier Technical Sales Manager of RAD UK. The pair will discuss the importance of Carrier Ethernet demarcation, end-to-end SLA assurance and meeting the challenge of global Carrier Ethernet deployment.

Steve Sharp, Technical Sales Manager at the Kenton Group says: “The demand for Carrier Ethernet services is increasing so providers are looking for ways to offer new and differentiated Ethernet services in order to increase revenues and remain competitive while meeting the demands of their customers. By providing the tools that enable them to increase operational efficiency and minimize the total cost of ownership, service provisioning and management systems can meet the new service deployment demands. This approach to use a demarcation point, that ensures reliability with a performance guarantee, is made possible through the use of our all-in-one devices.”

“Although the Carrier Ethernet market is growing strongly, it varies widely by region and application, driving the requirements in different directions. Vendors now need to think hard about where to place their R&D investments and it is critical for those seeking the widest possible target market to provide products and solutions that can be configured to support different applications and geographical preferences,” adds Stephen Boultwood, Carrier Technical Sales Manager of RAD UK.
