Talend Recognised as a Visionary in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools

Talend, the global big data integration software leader, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the “Visionaries” quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools” report [1]. According to the report, “Enterprises' need to improve the flexibility of their information infrastructure is intensifying their focus on data integration activities. More information and application managers are realising that data integration is a critical aspect of their overall enterprise information management (EIM) strategy and information infrastructure.”

Gartner estimates that the data integration tool market was worth approximately $2.4 billion in constant currency at the end of 2014, an increase of 6.9% from 2013. The growth rate is above the average for the enterprise software market as a whole, as data integration capability continues to be considered of critical importance for addressing the diversity of problems and emerging requirements.
