Southampton, 31 May 2012: PEER 1 Hosting, the global online web hosting provider, has been named one of the top 25 'Best Workplaces, small business category' by the Great Place to Work® Institute. A rigorous employee and management assessment of the company saw it ranked 16th on the UK small business list. Every year the Institute surveys some 5,500 organisations across the world, representing around 10 million employees, with only the best receiving a ranking.

PEER 1, known for its innovative recruitment methods and commitment to outstanding customer service has established itself as a leading employer on the South Coast. Growth of the company in the last 12 months has seen it open a £10 million custom-built datacentre in Portsmouth.

Employees working for organisations named by Great Place to Work® are 87% less likely to leave the organisation, according to the MacLeod Government Review.
