New partnership will enable eCommerce businesses in Europe to benefit from X-Cart’s hosted shopping cart and Coinzone’s Bitcoin payment gateway
Amsterdam – June 2, 2015 – Coinzone, a leading Bitcoin payment solution provider dedicated to making it easy for European merchants and consumers to use and accept digital currencies, today announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with X-Cart, a global provider of hosted shopping cart services for eCommerce businesses. The partnership will provide X-Cart’s customers in Europe with the ability to offer Bitcoin payments to their customers, and so expand the payment and sales opportunities available to them.
Established in 2001, with over 33, 000 online stores in 111 countries, and a gross merchandise volume (GMV) of USD two billion in 2014, X-Cart is a global eCommerce player. Coinzone therefore sees this announcement as an important part of its strategy to develop more partnerships with companies such as Payment Service Providers, eCommerce and PoS solutions vendors.
