Reading, UK: 3rd August 2012
UK Trade and Investment have chosen 51Degrees.mobi Ltd to represent Britain at the British Business Embassy’s ICT Summit on 3rd August 2012. The ICT Summit will be held in London, broadcast around the world, and accompanied online via a Virtual Exhibition. Selected from a number of leading British Technological SMEs, 51Degrees.mobi Ltd was judged ‘exemplary’ and will exhibit under the category of Next-Generation Mobility.

During the ICT Summit 51Degrees.mobi will present its portfolio of mobile device web optimisation software to the world via a Virtual Exhibition platform that will run throughout the event and until February 2013. Attendees can learn why web sites need to detect different devices and use content optimisation tools to improve the user experience on an ever expanding number of mobile platforms.

James Rosewell, founder and CEO of 51Degrees.mobi Ltd said “I’m delighted we’ve been recognised in this way. We have a strong following among grass roots technologists who use our products on over 140,000 web servers to detect ½ billion devices a month. The British Business Embassy’s ICT Summit enables us to explain the relevance of our products in business terms to Business Leaders.”

Other ICT areas on the ICT Summit agenda include: Broadband; Cloud & SaaS; Digital Innovation; Smart Infrastructure: Video and Image Recognition & AR. The sessions are led by senior representatives of organisations such as ARM, BBC, BT, Cisco, CSR, Huawei Europe, IBM, Imperial College, LOCOG, Logica, Qualcomm Europe, Samsung Electroincs UK, Sophos and Telefónica O2 UK.

Keynote addresses will be provided by leading industry figures including BBC’s Mark Thompson, BT’s Ian Livingston, and Joanna Shields, Facebook. Also in attendance will be British Business Ambassadors and representatives from UK Government, providing an unrivalled opportunity to engage with key decision makers and influencers at the highest level.
