Post by: RealWire on March 26, 2013, 08:37:52 PM
March 26 2013, Symphony EYC, a global leader in customer driven retailing software and services, today announces the appointment of David Wright as Global Account Manager. Wright is tasked with using his extensive CPG experience to help manage relationships with existing global, multi-site blue chip clients headquartered out of the UK & Nordics. He will also help drive new business opportunities in the Merchandising and Category Management space across Northern Europe.

Wright joins after almost seven years at The Nielsen Company, where he was International Account Manager, responsible for the management and implementation of the sales strategy within the UK and key European clients. Wright has also worked previously at Pepsico and Diageo.

“Symphony EYC is an exciting company to be working for, especially considering the recent merger between Aldata and EYC,” says Wright. “It’s excellent that we’re focusing on meeting the demands of the omni-shopper, something every manufacturer is going to be dedicating a lot of time to throughout 2013.”

Andrew Banks, General Manager, Sales N Europe, Symphony EYC comments: “We are extremely pleased to announce David Wright’s appointment and to add him to our growing team in the UK and Nordics. David brings with him valuable experience of working with global manufacturers who are looking to drive sales through greater understanding of the shopper and more effective category management processes.

“David’s appointment alongside Nigel Lahiri at the end of last year and Marc Darling last month, puts the company in an excellent position for 2013 and beyond to deliver our new company strategy,” concludes Andrew.
