Picking up another prominent award, Meltwater Group is honoured by becoming a certified Top Employer

London, 4th April – Meltwater Group, one of the world’s leading Software as a Service (SaaS) companies, has been certified by the CRF Institute as one of Britain’s Top Employers for 2011, awarding the organisation for its efforts in meeting the highest standards of HR.

Identifying Meltwater as front-runners in HR management, the company has been recognised for providing organisations with sharp, fresh insight into their markets and customers. Scoring highly in Career Development, Company Culture and Training & Development, Meltwater is proud of its commitment to its employees, developing and nurturing a pool of talent that is hard-working and ethical, with a strong entrepreneurial flair.

The certification is based on independent research done by the CRF Institute and audited by Grant Thornton that shows that Meltwater has outstanding HR policies and offers an excellent working environment.

Fifty-eight organisations which were certified in this year’s Britain’s Top Employers project and companies were judged on the basis of their scores in the following HR-related areas: Primary Benefits, Secondary Benefits & Working Conditions, Training and Development, Career Development, and Company Culture.

“Winning an award as a first-time entrant and to be honoured as one of Britain’s Top Employers, is something we take great pride in and is an acknowledgment to all the hardworking people at Meltwater. The Meltwater investment in nurturing and developing home-grown talent has been the single most important factor in growing Meltwater from a two man start-up in Norway 10 years ago to the world’s leading news and social media monitoring company today, counting more than 800 people across 6 continents and 27 countries,” said Jorn Lyseggen, Founder and CEO.

“The 58 certified organisations have put the welfare of their employees at the top of their list of priorities and are doing exceptionally well in offering their employees the best working conditions. You will see that translated in the long-term sustainability of these companies.” says Steven Veenendaal, CEO of the CRF Institute.

The CRF Institute has 20 years’ experience in supporting organisations in creating genuine and differentiated employer brands. The CRF has been running Britain’s Top Employer Awards for 11 years.
